Review Process

How do we review a site?

That would be the first question that comes in mind about the realization of the website. In addition, what are the elements that the reviewers, or writers, look for when they get a hold of a certain website? What are the differences as well as the pros and cons? Read on for the sake of enlightenment.

The first element would be the overall appearance of the site. The look is particularly the first thing that you look into whenever you enter a certain website. It’s like purchasing a house and the first thing that you see is the exterior part right before you get inside the house and explore its features. Actually, this doesn’t count when it comes to page ranking since this is all about weblog review and not a website beauty contest. However, this happens sometimes also. The questions linger from; “Does it look good?” Is it friendly on your eyes?” “What about the colors?” After all, simplicity is not always the answer; a website has to have a flow to it without giving up its important values. A tip though, it has something to do with consistency.

The second element that we delve into is the weblog itself. This is the part where we do the reading for hours and concentrate on how it is written and how well it is delivered. There are times when we simply read what’s on the first webpage and there are times when we have to click on the very first weblog uploaded. The sub-elements to this part is consist of writing content, how well is it written and the objective of the piece. This is actually the major point to conclude whether if we like the site or not.

The third element would be the features, or other matters, like the entertainment section. These things can be also like website links to thoughts-of-the-day to horoscopes. The question is, “Do features like these really have to be in a high-rated website? The answer is a straight no. The major point that we are looking for is if the whole interface corresponds to the site. You can’t just post something like a NASCAR update when you weblog is all about gardening. It simply doesn’t apply.

So, what does it take to have a high-rated website? This question is actually overrated since there’s no such thing that exists. It is all about originality, along with the three elements mentioned above, and outclasses every single website that you can think of. Just a simple form of what “difference” really means. You can always go to a search engine and search for these high-rated websites and get the idea of what it’s all about.

Keep in mind though that these reviews are based on opinions. It is not actually a matter if your site gets a good or bad review since it’s all the same; you get the praising as well as the criticism. Take into account that the purpose of this website is to get noticed by other websites. However, if you can’t handle criticisms that well, you can actually post comments or hand us out your own review to prove that the reviewer is wrong.
