We all dream of becoming our own boss someday because we just simply want the perks of being the boss. No more early morning traffic rush. No more undue pressure from your supervisor. No more unnecessary late night calls. No more officemates peer pressure. Yes, the stake of starting your own business , be it offline or online, is high and so is the reward.

Internet opportunities abound as most of the new world’s millionaires and billionaires have found their trove of treasure in the web. And so it is most logical for us look up at the net for ventures that might pull in some unlimited revenue. Internet statistical figures already provided us a glimpse on how we can derive earnings from of it. This “statistics” is a wake up call, a stroke of lightning, for all of us thinking of getting into the internet’s greener pastures.

Yes it can be done and it has been done. Well, I have already left my job six months ago just to become my own boss and created this review site.

Here we go. Our review for today is all about dayjobnuker.com. It is a blog about a guy’s journey to self sufficiency. Because according to him, he can no longer stand working in a politically correct environment of today’s corporate world and so he decided that on July 1, 2010 he has to leave his day job. Of course he has a plan, a three year plan. Anyway, he created this blog because he wants to share his experience for those who are just just like him venturing into the ever changing internet landscape. By having this blog he is helping others and so he is helping himself.

Appearance

The blog’s interface is simple. No overly large header or banner. The google ads placement is just minimal as with the other graphic ads. The three column themed blog is just right because the posts column space still prevails and so the contents are more conspicuous than the ads . The blog’s sidebar has the usual navigational flare of “recent posts”, “recent comments”, categories and the archives. The author also provided some friendly blog links that he found to be worthy. Everything in the blog is just right to my taste.

Blogs

The first blog posting I have noted was dated May 30, 2007. On that basis, we can say that the blog is relatively new but it cannot just be put aside for that reason alone. Content is still and remains the king. Blog postings categories include “money making hobbies offline and online”, article writing and as Ive mentioned before a category for newbies. And a lot more than you can ask for a “money making” blog.

The site popularity is growing as it has already gained some following. There are already about 93 readers based on the comments and on the RSS feeds that I have observed during the time of my review.

Features

The good thing about his site is that the author has provided a section created solely for beginners. It covers basic tips and links of income opportunities in the net. This will surely be of great interest for newbies out there and will attract those who are already into “make money” blogging just like I do. More of that, he has even included a free download section of “money making” ebooks. What a great resource for bloggers and what else you could ask for.

Overall

If you are contemplating on leaving your job and wants to be come your own boss, this site can be of great help. It is because you are provided with a first hand experience from a guy who is planning to leave his day job. He still have about three years to do such but along his journey lessons are learned and he is sharing it with us. I admire this guy’s tenacity and determination to do the unusual things just to reach his goal. Here’s an interesting story posted in his blog. This is about one of his offline money making hobbies and that is of collecting golf balls and selling it on ebay. His methods is quite , I say, risky as he has to get up at early in the morning at about 3:00 AM just to drive to the golf course. He had to do it when it was dark and the golf course closed because he does not want to be caught. Not bad for earning about 500 to 1000 dollars with just minimal investment of “adrenaline rush”.

This site should not be missed by people who wants to leave their job and who is planning to venture on the net. You are provided with a first hand experience and so you are guaranteed with a tried and tested ways and means of becoming you own boss.
